Brian Miller is retired from the Vermont State Police after 28 years and held the rank of Lieutenant. During his career, he served as the commander of the crisis/hostage negotiation unit and commanded a major crimes unit. Mr. Miller’s last assignment with the State Police was the strategic planner. Additionally, he is an accredited instructor through Vermont Real Estate Commission and a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigations National Academy.

Mr. Miller holds a BA in criminal justice from Westfield State College with a minor in sociology. He has a Master of Science in mediation and applied conflict studies from the Woodbury Institute at Champlain College. He is a licensed Private Investigator in the State of Vermont.
